I worked on this for a VERY long time. Like.... a couple of days.
This is for the Rift contest.
The hardest part was the actual design. I wanted it to scientifically make sense so I did A LOT of observation of actual sea creatures and came up with this.
Areledos Mor is a combination of many different Irish sea legends(seeing as I am originally from Ireland ^o^) Including their version of the Kraken known in the southern villages as Arledos Mor or the terror of the sea.
I did this with markers only. Please enjoy... or y'know... not. ^^'
